Public Comment on NorthMet Draft 401 Certification

Please be advised:

Comments on the NorthMet Draft 401 Certification will be accepted through March 16, 2018.

Comments related to the MPCA’s draft air quality permit and the draft water quality should be submitted on the comment forms specific to those permits, accessible through the State PolyMet permitting portal here

Comments related to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) authorities and draft permit to mine should be provided directly to the DNR, accessible through the permitting portal here

All comments will become part of the public record of the NorthMet Draft 401 Certification.

Comments submitted during the public comment period are considered public data under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act.

Comments submitted through this online system will not be visible to other commenters.
